Press Release - September 22, 2020
Due to the recent measures put in place by the department of Public Health of the Government of Quebec, the number of people permitted in the Basilica of Sainte Anne de Beaupré has been reduced.
As a result, there will a maximum of 25 people authorized in the Basilica to attend Masses on Sundays and on weekdays.
These new restrictions take effect immediately and will be in place until further notice from the Government of Quebec.
We share in your frustration and disappointment with the implementation of these new health measures. However, we invite you to fully cooperate with these new orders set out by the Government of Quebec.
Despite these changes, all scheduled Masses will go ahead as planned while respecting this new decree of a maximum of 25 people. Sunday Masses will be celebrated at 8:30 a.m., 11:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. From Monday to Saturday, Masses will be at 6:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.
If any changes occur concerning the maximum number of people permitted in the Basilica, we will notify you through this Facebook page, the Shrine website and as well, an announcement will be made at the 6:30 a.m. televised Mass.
Thank you for your continued support and understanding during these difficult times.
